Mrs. Irmelin Dragsted Ipsen is Non-resident Fellow for Sustainable Development in the Center for International Relations and Sustainable Development (CIRSD).
She served for six years as the Deputy Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Denmark.
Prior to her appointment she worked to promote international trade and investment through policy advocacy, sharing corporate best practices, facilitating cross-border transactions, and engaging with the United Nations and its specialized agencies. She previously worked for CMP Thailand, identifying and promoting bilateral trade relations and opportunities between Europe and Southeast Asia.
Mrs. Ipsen holds a MBA from the École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris and a Bachelor in International Management from the University of Manchester. Her education also includes postgraduate studies at the University of Copenhagen in sustainable resource management and international development.
