Advanced Course on International Relations Wraps up with Graduation Ceremony
The President of the Center for International Relations and Sustainable Development (CIRSD) Vuk Jeremić awarded participants of the Advanced Course on International Relations with completion certificates on Thursday, August 6th.
“In the past week, we practically had the entire world in front of us, having gone through some of the most important international issues of our time,” Jeremić said. CIRSD’s President thanked course participants for having greatly contributed to interactive discussions and maintaining the highest professional and academic standards.
“Thank you all for making us feel like an important part of the world,” Jeremić said. He noted that the last seven days have made for an exciting journey through international relations, adding that he personally learned a great deal from the lectures.
The course was attended by 35 participants from throughout the Western Balkans, many of whom have been awarded the highest academic distinctions by their respective institutions of learning. The group was chosen following a rigorous admission process, during which CIRSD recruiters interviewed several hundred applicants from all over the region.
The lecturers at the course featured some of the most prominent active international policymakers, intellectuals, and academics including Luis Amado, Wolfram Maas, Ralph Langner, Luis Almagro, Nikolas Gvosdev, Branko Milanović, Andrey Kortunov, Richard Gowan, Sheikh Muhammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Alastair Crooke, Ivan Vejvoda, and others.
