Jeremić Attends the Forum of Young Global Leaders in Beijing and Tianjin
CIRSD President Vuk Jeremić participated in the annual meeting of the Forum of Young Global Leaders, part of the Davos-based World Economic Forum.
This year’s Forum of Young Global Leaders took place in the Chinese cities of Beijing and Tianjin. The Forum is a unique community of exceptional individuals under the age of 40 from every region of the world.
During the Forum, panel discussions and workshops were held on a number of important topics, including world's current political and security challenges, UN post-2015 sustainable development agenda, the future of mobile technology, the green economy and renewable energy.
In addition to participating in the Forum, Jeremić attended the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2014. Known as the “Summer Davos,” the Meeting provides an opportunity for exchanges to take place between leaders from top-ranked multinationals and chief executive officers of dynamic and fast-growing companies, key decisionmakers from government, media, academia, and think-tanks, in order to share strategies and discuss global issues and risks.
Jeremić was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2013.

New York, NY — The Global Preventive Diplomacy Initiative (GPDI) was launched at an exclusive event organized by the Center for International Relations and Sustainable Development (CIRSD) on the top floor of New York’s iconic MetLife Building, bringing together diplomats, philanthropists, business leaders, academics, and thought leaders for a conversation on the future of conflict prevention and international cooperation. The launch came just days before the opening of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, which annually brings together heads of state and government for the High-Level General Debate — making New York the world’s diplomatic capital.
