CIRSD President Vuk Jeremić attended the 2015 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting held in Davos, Switzerland.
This event brought together global leaders from across business, government, international organizations, academia, and civil society to discuss political, security, and economic agendas in an increasingly complex and uncertain international environment.
In all the sessions I attended or participated in, there was an overwhelming atmosphere of concern about the systematic impact of deepening geopolitical fault-lines and increasing strategic competition,” Jeremić said at the closing.
During the Annual Meeting at Davos, Jeremić gave a special presentation - Young Global Leaders Shaping Geopolitics. He underscored that younger generations should not only offer their views on present trends and risks, but also put forth bold ideas on how to overcome them in sustainable ways.
It was agreed that CIRSD will host a regional YGL meeting in November 2015 in Belgrade, which will focus on contemporary geopolitical challenges.
