The President of the Center for International Relations and Sustainable Development (CIRSD) Vuk Jeremić paid a two day visit to Cairo, where he met with senior Egyptian officials and other prominent state figures.
Jeremić had separate meetings with the Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa and the Dean of the School of Public Affairs at the American University in Cairo Nabil Fahmy, during which they exchanged views on prospects of peace and stability in the Middle East.
The CIRSD President also met with former Secretary General of the United Nations Boutros Boutros-Ghali, with whom he discussed pressing international issues and the role played by the United Nations in international system.
On this occasion, Jeremić laid forth CIRSD's priorities for the upcoming months, taking the opportunity to introduce the latest issue of Horizons. He further noted that the forthcoming Spring 2015 issue of the magazine will be devoted to Middle Eastern affairs.
