CIRSD President Vuk Jeremić met in Brussels with Mr. Elmar Brok, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament (AFET).
Jeremić and Brok exchanged views on a number of pressing international issues, including the situation in Ukraine and the latest developments in the Middle East.
CIRSD President presented to Mr. Brok current activities and projects of the Center, starting with the current issue of "Horizons".
Jeremić and Brok agreed to work together in the view of the high-level international conference on the role of Europe in globalized multipolar world. This conference will be organized by CIRSD in partnership with the Harvard Center of European Studies in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in September 2015.
Jeremić also met with the leadership and fellows of prestigous Brussels-based thinktanks, International Crisis Group and Carnegie Europe, to discuss cooperation on various projects, including the forthcoming Harvard conference. During his visit to Brussels, CIRSD President was accompanied by CIRSD Advisor on International Relations Suzana Grubješić.

New York, NY — The Global Preventive Diplomacy Initiative (GPDI) was launched at an exclusive event organized by the Center for International Relations and Sustainable Development (CIRSD) on the top floor of New York’s iconic MetLife Building, bringing together diplomats, philanthropists, business leaders, academics, and thought leaders for a conversation on the future of conflict prevention and international cooperation.
