The Center for International Relations and Sustainable Development (CIRSD) will host a high-level public discussion titled “The Asia-Pacific Century” on December 16th, 2025, at Aeroklub in Belgrade. The event will feature Professor Jeffrey D. Sachs, University Professor and Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University, in conversation with Vuk Jeremić, President of CIRSD.
This discussion will explore the profound geopolitical and economic transformations reshaping the Asia-Pacific region and their implications for Europe and the wider international community. As one of the world’s most influential economists and global development experts, Professor Sachs will share insights on shifting power dynamics, sustainable development trends, and the future of global governance.
