CIRSD and the French Embassy to Host a Climate Change Debate
The Center for International Relations and Sustainable Development (CIRSD) and the Embassy of the French Republic to Serbia will host a debate exploring the significance of fighting climate change and advancing sustainable energy policy. The event will take place at the French Ambassador's residence in Belgrade at 3 PM, on June 9th, 2015. The debate is being organized with the aim to raise awareness of the importance of ongoing efforts by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate change, as well as to point out the significance of the December 2015 Conference of Parties (COP21) in Paris.
The debate will feature remarks by CIRSD President Vuk Jeremić, French Ambassador to Serbia Christine Moro, Belgrade University professors Nikola Rajaković and Vladimir Đurđević, Vice President of the Managing Board of the National Alliance for Local Economic Development Ana Brnabić, and representatives of the Paris-based Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI)
