CIRSD President Vuk Jeremić completed a two-day visit to Kuwait during which he held meetings with the country's leadership.
Jeremić met separately with His Highness the Emir of Kuwait Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and the Foreign Minister Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah.
In presenting the newly-released Winter 2015 issue of Horizons to his interlocutors, Jeremić informed them of the main topics of the magazine's forthcoming Spring issue, namely the Middle East and Global Energy Security.
Kuwait is a force of moderation in the region and I was privileged to have the opportunity to exchange views with its leaders on a wide-range of matters, from the danger presented by ISIS and recent developments in North Africa, to energy markets and the ongoing humanitarian catastrophy in Syria," Jeremić said.
Accompanying Jeremić was CIRSD Senior Fellow Damjan Krnjević Misković. The delegation was hosted by CIRSD Board member H.H. Dr. Sheikh Muhammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, former Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kuwait.
