Presidents of CIRSD and PISM (Polish Institute of International Affairs), Vuk Jeremić and Marcin Zaborowski, agreed yesterday in Warsaw to sign a partnership agreement between two organizations and cooperate closely on a number of projects related to international relations and global security.
This partnership with leading Polish foreign policy institute is part of a wider engagement of CIRSD with top Central European institutes and think-tanks with the aim to facilitate discussion on the future of Europe and its role on the international scene.
Jeremić met in Warsaw also with a number of top Polish officials, including Sejm Marshal Radoslav Sikorski, Deputy Foreign Minister Henryka Moscicka-Dendys and Former Polish President Alexander Kwasniewski, with whom he exchanged views on the most pressing international issues, in particular the situation in Ukraine.
During these meetings, they also touched on negotiations on the post-2015 development agenda, climate change issues and UN reform.
