Centre for International Relations and Sustainable Development (CIRSD) will hold the first joint meeting of its Executive and Advisory Board in Hong Kong on 17 and 18 January 2014.
CIRSD President Vuk Jeremic and Honorary Chairman of the Advisory Board, Miguel Ángel Moratinos, will jointly chair the meeting, at which will be presented CIRSD's working plan for 2014 as well as projects to be developed in the time ahead.
The following members of the Advisory Board will attend - former Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Miguel Ángel Moratinos, Columbia University Professor Dr. Jeffrey Sachs, former President of the Swiss Confederation and Foreign Affairs Minister of Switzerland Micheline Calmy-Rey, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait Sheikh Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, former Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Shaukat Aziz, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Morocco Dr. Mohamed Benaïssa, Secretary General of the Organization of American States José Miguel Insulza, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia Dr. Nur Hassan Wirajuda and the President of the Development Research Center of the State Council of China Minister Li Wei.
This is the first regular session of the two CIRSD highest boards since the Center's establishment, and the conclusions of the meeting will underline further CIRSD activities and priorities.
