Damjan Krnjević Mišković

Mr. Damjan Krnjević Mišković is Executive Director & Senior Fellow of the Center for International Relations and Sustainable Development (CIRSD), Editor of Horizons, and member of the Columbia University Earth Institute–UN SDSN Advisory Group on International Relations.

He served as Senior Special Advisor to the President of the sixty-seventh session of the UN General Assembly. He was previously Senior Advisor to Serbia’s Foreign Minister. During this period, he served as chairman of the Diplomatic Academy Admissions Commission and was a member of its Board. He began his career in public service in 2004 as Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of Serbia. Prior to that, he was Managing Editor of the Washington-based National Interest magazine, columnist for the Russian daily Izvestia, and Fellow in European Studies at the Nixon Center in Washington, DC.

He has published in leading outlets such as Journal of Democracy, National Review Online, the Weekly Standard, the Washington Post, the Financial Times, the Review of Metaphysics, and Commentaire.

Mr. Krnjević Mišković holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Middlebury College and is an alumnus of the China Executive Leadership Academy Pudong (CELAP) in Shanghai.
