Mr. Stefan Antić is Managing Editor of Horizons, a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for International Relations and Sustainable Development (CIRSD), and a Teaching Assistant to H.E. Mr. Vuk Jeremić at Sciences Po’s Paris School of International Affairs. He is a veteran of successful social media campaigns in international diplomatic settings and domestic political environments. He has accumulated years of experience in conducting high-impact research and editorial work as well as project development in the manufacturing-based private sector. In 2012, he became the youngest person to serve in the Executive Office of the President of the UN General Assembly, serving as Junior Fellow for Political Affairs and Conference Coverage. Following his UN service, he worked at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the United Nations as Senior Assistant on International Security and Disarmament Affairs. In his native Serbia, Mr. Antić worked in a variety of roles at the Center for International Relations and Sustainable Development, where he regularly reported on Middle Eastern affairs, including the negotiations on the original Iran Nuclear Deal, the rise and fall of the Islamic State, and the role of Kurdish-governed areas in the region’s future security architecture. He has authored a number of analytical pieces and studies, focusing on connectivity and foreign policy issues in Central Asia, the Caucasus, and the Balkans.
While serving concurrently in research and editorial positions, Mr. Antić provided research and social media guidance for the 2016 campaign of Serbia’s Candidate for the UN Secretary-General, serving as the team’s Chief Researcher. As a Government Relations Manager in the private sector, he led efforts at developing market-entry strategies and arranging government subsidies in the Balkans and the EU. Mr. Antić holds a master’s degree in politics from the University of Manchester.
